Keeping Up With The Carrs

Well, I'm finally starting up our blog again (after 2 years). We have a lot going on right now. I figured that since we are moving to Fort Worth, I would do this for friends and family to keep up with us. Anyways, here's what's going on with us.

We were supposed to be moving to Fort Worth on July 8th, but God had different plans for us. Everything was going great, our house had sold, we had a place to live, and everything was packed up ready to go. The day before closing we got a phone call saying that the it was going to fall through and that they weren't buying the house. Well that definitely put a stop to everything for the time being. We have shown the house several times in the last couple of weeks and have had a lot of interest in it. We are still moving to Fort Worth, but we are in Fayetteville for a few more weeks. We know that God has a plan and is faithful, so all we can do right now is pray and trust in Him to provide.

As far as jobs, neither one of us have jobs in the Fort Worth area right now, but again we know that's something that will come with time. Please be praying with us in that our house will sell soon and to the person that God has in mind, and also that we find jobs. If you know anyone in Northwest Arkansas who is looking for a small house, please let us know!! I will be updating as things progress!

Friends and Family

Well...I know it's been a while since our last blog update, but quite a bit has happened since then. I finally have a job for next year. I will be staying in Mountainburg teaching Pre-K. I feel so blessed to have a job, plus I love it in Mountainburg. It may be a bit of a drive, but that doesn't compare to how much I enjoy working down there.

Next, Bentley got his first hair cut this last week. His fur had gotten so long that it was growing in front of his eyes. He is still the center of our everyday activities. Now that I am home for the summer, he will be getting a lot more attention than normal. This could be a good or bad thing(i'm not sure yet)....

Our Africa trip is coming together nicely. We are getting so excited about getting there, even though we still have over a month before we leave. We had a team just get back, and just hearing them talk about it, gets our team more and more excited about going.

The last thing we have been doing was our eventful weekend. We married off one of our best friends, Ramsey. He married an amazing girl and we are so excited about where Christ is leading their lives together. They both seem very happy, and we couldn't be happier for them. Also, this past weekend was the first time all of my family has been together for my birthday. We got to meet/see the newest additions to our family John Ethan and Caden. They were both born in January, but a week apart. We are so thankful that Christ keeps adding to our family. It's amazing to see the things that Christ is doing through our family. Our New Addition

Well, I have been bugging Brad about getting a dog and he finally gave in. We got the cutest dog (in my opinion) in the world. He is a 11 week old Bichon Frise named Bentley. He has quickly become the center of our lives. The people we got him from said that he was the shyest of the litter, but he is anything but shy. We drove to Muldrow, OK to get Bentley the day that we really had started looking for a dog. He is perfect for us at this point in our lives, and it buys Brad some time on having kids. (I think that's why he really wanted Bentley...)
To update everyone on other areas of our life, we will be going to North Africa this summer for missions. We will be there for 2 weeks, and we both are pumped about going!! The team we have so far for North Africa is going to be an awesome team. I really believe that God is going to do amazing things through us. Please be in prayer for our team and the people with will be in contact with while we are there. Also, be praying for me job. I have a couple of options, but nothing is definite. I know that God will see this through, but please pray for patience on my end. We are both so excited to see what God has planned for us!!
